I had heard that because of pressure from environmentalists who had a problem with the Badger ( which is the last coal burning car ferry on the Great Lakes ) dumping her coal ash in lake Michigan that they might have to suspend service and that 2012 might be her last season, and I wanted to take a cruise aboard her before that happened.
