    Eugene L. Dimick is descended from the Massachusetts branch, as it was at Lester, in that state, that his grandfather, Jabez S. Dimick, was born in 1795. He was a manufacturer of woolen goods at Lester during a long period of years, but about the year 1868 retired from active pursuits and moved to Dixon, Illinois, where his death occurred in 1870.
