    Pierce Pond Camps is a traditional Maine sporting camp. It is located on the Lower Pond, remote, yet easily accessible. The same warm hospitality and rustic surroundings prevail as they have since 1904 when the camps were founded. The Cobb family has owned and operated the camps for 51 years. There are 12 cabins, each accommodate 2-6 guests.

If you enjoy books deep in history and nostalgia, its a very interesting read as its primarily a historical account of the camps on Pierce Pond since 1902 with some info on other camps in the region. Near the end of book is a 9 page chapter Flies.
