    Robert Perez started the barbershop in the 5th Street Arcades back in 1995 with a banker downtown named Cosmo who owned it. They put their names together and the place became Bobby C’s. The only problem: Cosmo had no clue how to cut hair!. Bobby noticed that a lot of young downtown customers came by looking for a contemporary cut, but Cosmo wasn’t on board.
