    May 13, 2016 · On October 28, 1916 Amos was married to Dorothy Elliott of Brooklyn. Amos, like his brother had done, brought his new bride to the 67 th Street house to live. On Sunday, December 30, 1918 Mary A. Morrill died suddenly at the age of 64. Her funeral was held in St. James Church where Elsie had been married three years earlier.
